Sculpture realisation for Cabasa Carnival Arts
"The Living Dress is a beautiful large-scale art installation made from naturally dyed textiles using plants and flowers, presented on a stunning 5m tall sculpture representing Mother Earth."
The Sculpture is touring, for indoors or outdoors, wears a different dress every season and is subject to wind and rain.
From our workshops in Devon we created the beautiful Mother Earth sculpture and proposed a refined solid base, and a bespoke installation mechanism by which the structure can be raised and taken down with ease.
We designed the entire install system to be modular in order to be easily transported, erected by 2 people, 1-1.5 hr install time, and can fit within a LWB van.
